It is unfortunate that her wards are held at her mercy while she spends through their estates and modifies their wills. If only they could seek the protection of a restraining order. This woman is sociopathic and needs to be stopped before more harm is done. I wonder whwhat she told the DA about transfering the property of a ward in to to her daughters name?

The State Bar of AZ will be the one responsible for taking her license to practice. Be warned, the odds of this happening are very slim. The State Bar is setup to protect attorneys rather than revoke licenses even though they portray themselves as regulating attorneys. The only way they revoke licenses is if the media gets involved.

Dear concerned Tucson citizen - @ Can you provide more detail, please? If Jan Bernardini is also harassing her neighbors, a restraining order can be quickly obtained at no cost to the person she is harassing. It is good for one year. One of her ex husbands had to get one and then the courts allowed him to extend it for another year.

If you have witnessed illegal activity on her part, you can file a police report and allow the authorities to deal with it. The bar will do nothing to her unless they are forced by the public. After you file the police report, send a copy to the bar and post one here anonymously. If we all stick together with the truth, her lies will revealed. Jan is an expert at manipulating systems. If you have direct evidence of a crime, you are obligated to report such behavior. Eventually a pattern may be established that can be used to compel a psych evaluation.

Help request for misconduct by Janice L. Bernardini of Tucson, AZ. I have some concerning actions that have accumulated since she has moved into her latest home, following her divorce. The most severe occurence is a situation where Jan tried to extort $500 from a college student. She has a history of unstable actions, and harassing home owners in her neighboorhood. I have almost 10 separate incidences of her actions of malicious intent towards very common people ( all of these are outside of her work place setting and I have found this posting in trying to understand her unwarranted hostilities). I would like some advice on how to handle this. We have documentation and eye witnesses for these issues. However, we do not have an avenue in which a supervising body can come in to anaylze the situation. I and a handful of others would like to call in to question Jan's mental stability, and would like advice on who may have the authority to question her AZ Bar License. Please post your advice here in the comments if possible: on who to contact, what format the communications can be done, and any other useful information.
